Six days until our first wedding anniversary. I took the top tier of our wedding cake out of the freezer, took it out of the sealed tupperware bowl, unwrapped the 6 layers of aluminum foil and 10 layers of platic wrap. Guess what? No freezer burn! Cake might not taste like dried crap after all. It is sitting in the fridge defrosting slowly with a light wrap of plastic wrap to keep from crushing the frosting.

How in the world did I ever get here? I am a wife, home maker, home owner, steady corporate job holder, and soon an Auntie to Baby Boy Statman. When the heck did I grow up? Ick.
