Sunburn Update

The burn is 4 weeks old now. It itches like hell and 80% of it is STILL red and bright pink. At least it doesn't hurt and scratching feels pretty good.

The 3rd week was very itchy, it had completed the peeling process. Scratching helped the itch but hurt like hell. I just couldn't win for losing.

The 2nd week the pain had eased but the peeling had begun. Peeling was completed by the end of the 2nd week. New skin was seriously raw and very sensitive. On the upside the pain had mellowed out enough that I could wear pants.

The 1st week can only be described as unbelieveable pain. Pain all the time, non-stop. Sleep on tummy with only cool, light, soft sheet over me. Roll over in my sleep, find myself sitting bolt upright in serious pain and tears running down my face. Week one was just plain bad.
