Thank you cards are being done tomorrow and mailed out Monday.
This years birthday booty was excellent. I received cards that made me laugh and a few birthday phone calls.
I got a crisp, clean, 50 dollar bill in one card. I LOVE it when I get crisp new money. Anyone can just stick a check or few bucks in a card. When someone takes the time to go down to the bank, wait in the line, and get you a fresh, clean, crisp bill that says something. Just that they would make the effort makes it extra special.
I also received a netbook! I have the Lenovo S10 http://shop.lenovo.com/us/notebooks/ideapad/s-series. It is super cool and I am really enjoying it. Such a tiny little computer it fits right in my tank bag.
At Chrsitmas I got a Wii and for my birthday my Mom got me the bundle with Guitar Hero III and a Les Paul guitar controller. We have spent most of the day playing Guitar Hero. It is seriously addicting!
The other thing I received I have been looking at for a long time. The Braun Silk-epil Xelle epilator. Epilation has come a long way since the human self torture device days of the epilady and I am ready to give it a try. This one even comes with beginner heads and stuff to make getting into it a bit easier.
This afternoon a friend came over with her kids and brought me the cutest little ice cream cake, a cool DVD, and a neat cat themed desk calendar.
