A splendid video of Scott Jennings, assistant to Karl Rove, the White
House POLITICAL ADVISOR. Executive privilege does not extend to your
POLITICAL ADVISOR goddammit.

He uses the word "respectfully" many times, but somehow I don't think he
really means it.
So, maybe someone can explain to me what part of "We, the taxpayers, pay
these people, and they fucking work for us" does the U.S. public not get?
Why the hell aren't people pissed off about this shit? Is this the
failing of education, that people don't know what this means? Is it the
fact that the alleged "liberal media" doesn't show any of this?
And don't give me that "Clinton did it too", Al, this is WAY EFFING
DIFFERENT. This is the rendering of the United States Justice system
into a subsidiary of the Republican National Committee. Pretty much the
opposite of lying about a blowjob.
The. Justice. System. The backbone of our country.
I don't get it. Why aren't people pissed off? Is Bush that fucking
wonderful? With a 26% approval, and a 65% disapproval rating, that
can't be it.
Please, someone explain it to me. Why doesn't America care what these
people are hiding?

================================================
Habeas Corpus - Severely damaged
Posse Comitatus - Gone, mostly via the "war on drugs", and USA Patriot
Act
Department of Homeland Sec. - Too much power, too little brains.
Armed Forces - Seriously damaged
Department of Justice - Simply, plainly, completely corrupt.
If the American people continue to place more importance on who is in
rehab, vs. who should be out of office, they will get the government
they deserve.
Unfortunately, they will need to carry and show their papers on demand.

Here's a quick lesson on the relationship between "facts" and "points": When making a "point," one must rely on "facts." When one's "facts" turn out to be false, one no longer has a "point."

If the Police, or Anyone Dressed Like Them...
If the cops want to search you, particularly in a situation like this, you still have the right to say "no".

The appropriate response if this happens to you is, "No, thank you. Am I free to go?"
If they insist, your next words should be "Get a warrant".

Bill O'Reilly is right about one thing. I do hate him. Not for any
reason other than the fact that he is a liar and a propagandist of the
worst sort. And a waste of skin.
Senator Chris Dodd was on his show yesterday, speaking truth to
stupidity. Bill O'Really needs more of this sort of treatment:
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/08/02/chris-dodd-smacks-down-oreilly-about-daily-kos-the-video/
Bear in mind that the "San Francisco" incident Dodd talks about (and
O'Really denies saying) was this:

Also bear in mind that Coit Tower is a tribute to S.F. Firefighters.
It's not on the clip, but apparently O'Really said that Dodd "is no Joe
Lieberman". I can't see why O'Reilly would compliment Dodd like that...
In the immortal words of Snoop Dogg, "Fuck Bill O'Reilly" (not work safe).

And if you're a fan of Billo, I can only ask, why? Why do you hate
America? :-)
