No matter how you feel politically about Ronald Reagan, you just have to feel bad for Nancy.

Usually when you lose a spouse it goes in a whirlwind that takes less than a week, but step by step
- spouse dies
- arrangements are made
- you have ceremony
- you say good bye
- you bury, burn, or whatever your spouse
- you grieve, (without EVERYONE watching a million news cameras trained on your every move)
- you move on

I can't imagine how much more pronounced and prolonged the grief of Nancy and her children must be.

How many freaking ceremonies must they go through? How many times must they stand in front of the cameras to grieve and say goodbye?

Here is the ceremony count so far:
1. California - at Library

2. California - Ceremony to load him on AirForce 1

3. Washington DC - Ceremony to unload him from the plane and take him to the rotunda

4. Washinton DC - Cermony to remove him from the rotunda and take him to the cathedral

5. Washington DC - Ceremony services at the cathedral

6. Washinton DC - Ceremony to move him from cathedral to airport and load him onto Airforce One

That is SIX cermonies his family has had to deal with so far. They are not done yet either.

7. California - Ceremony to unload him from Airforce One and take him back to the library

8. California - Yet another funeral ceremony at the library where they while finally bury the guy

If you ask me, it's ridiculous. I don't care how great a person was. To run his family through the ringer EIGHT times is just wrong.
